It’s been a great weekend for Captain America fans. First up, the long-awaited Superbol TV spot finally aired, giving us our first glimpse at the hotly debated costume in action, as well some very impressive special effects, most notably the ‘before’ version of a weedy Steve Rogers (a body double with actor Chris Evans’ head grafted on), and an all-too-brief glimpse of the Red Skull.
You can see the trailer below, while ComicBookMovie have posted a selection of screen grabs, some of which you can also see below, and the rest here.
Meanwhile, the official Captain America website is now live, and you can go there now to grab some wallpapers (also below), watch the TV spot again, and also read the first issue of the Captain America: First Vengeance digital comic book.
Captain America: The First Avenger is directed by Joe Johnston, and stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Sebastian Stan as sidekick Bucky Barnes, Hugo Weaving as villain The Red Skull, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Tommy Lee Jones as General Chester Phillips, Stanley Tucci as Dr. Abraham Erskine, Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan, Toby Jones as Arnim Zola, and Richard Armitage as Heinz Kruger.
