The Wrap are claiming to have some inside info on the new Spider-Man reboot that indicates that the villain of the piece will be Dr Curt Connors, aka The Lizard.
This goes against recent rumours that Venom would would be going up against Andrew Garfied’s Spider-Man, but we’ll find out for sure soon enough.
Dylan Baker must be kicking himself if this is true – after all, he did already play Dr Curt Connors is Sam Raimi’s trilogy, and the expectation was that he would eventually get to play The Lizard.
Production will kick-off before the end of the year.
