Alvin Sargent, who has performed script-polishing work on the 3 previous films, as well as the cancelled Spider-Man 4, has been hired to run his word processor over Jamie Vanderbilt’s script before production begins.
According to Heat Vision, the new film will be “more emotionally anchored and realistic than the previous movies”, which seems to suit Sargent’s skills well.
