Iron Man 2 is not yet released, though it’s a given that it’ll be a smash.
As well as laying the groundwork for the Avengers movie, it goes without saying that a 3rd solo outing for shell head will follow.
Superhero Hype are reporting a snippet from Associated Press, who caught some chatter from last week’s ShoWest.
Apparently, while chatting about his upcoming film Due Date, which opens later this year…
“…Downey said he aims to suit up for a third “Iron Man” flick…”
So, nothing definate, and unfortunately no direct quote from Downey Jr. himself, but at least it’s a comfirmation of sorts that Marvel’s plans extend beyond just the the Avengers flick.
